corner bakery mac and cheese

i got this mac and cheese while out at lunch with friends, and was not disappointed, but i was not pleasantly surprised either. I found this mac and cheese extremely average.

mouth feel:
4/10
this mac and cheese came with bread crumbs on top, making the macaronis extremely crispy. while some people like this, i thought that they were a bit much, and had to be fully aware of what was in every bite i took. i do not like having crispy objects mixed in with my non-crispy food. when the cheese sauce covered the crumbs, you could not tell what they were, making each bite accompanied by some nice yellow crunchy bits. there is a kid's option that does not have the breadcrumbs, and would give that a 6/10 mouth feel. the noodles were very nice and al dente.

mac sauce:
7/10
this mac and cheese was not lacking in flavor at all. i was very happy with the extremely rich taste of the cheese sauce. the only thing that i have against it is that the sauce was very watery. When finished, the bowl was full of a breadcrummy cheese soup. as much as i like cheese soup, i do not like it after mac and cheese.

filling:
9/10
i was all filled up after eating this mac and cheese. i was not hungry after it, and was in fact a bit bloated. one of the parts that i found extremely ironic is that you were given a peice of garlic bread along with the macaroni and cheese. the only thing i was thinking after eating the bowl was what more can i do to fill up on carbs?

overall:
6/10
this mac and cheese was not one of the best i have had, but not one of the worst. i did not like the breadcrumbs or watery sauce, but other than that it was delicious. as for the kid's mac and cheese, i would give that a 7/10, because it had no breadcrumbs.
